PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Sealing and Repair Paint: BOUCH'ETANCHE® is a semi-paste product very rich in fibrous elements, ready to use based on acrylic resins in emulsion, pigments and appropriate fillers. After drying, it forms a flexible and waterproof film that adapts to all shapes. BOUCH'ETANCHE has excellent resistance to weathering and seals the substrate while allowing materials to breathe. PRODUCT BENEFITS BOUCH'ETANCHE is as easy to apply as paint and forms a continuous film without joints or connections, which eliminates any potential infiltration risks. Thanks to its easy and quick application, it does not require the use of specialized labor or sophisticated application equipment. It adheres perfectly to all surfaces, without heating or gluing. It allows for multiple punctual interventions. INTENDED USE BOUCH'ETANCHE is intended for areas that do not have standing water and where the slope allows for rainwater drainage. Facade Roof (tiles, gutters, etc.) Terrace ELIGIBLE MATERIALS Any porous material that allows the material to breathe APPLICATION TOOLS REQUIRED Roller (long nap), brush, broom PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATE The success of any sealing work depends largely on the proper preparation of the surfaces. The surfaces must be: Healthy, with good cohesion: all non-adhering parts will be removed by brushing, scraping or washing. If the substrate is friable or powdery, it is best to stabilize it with our FIXEFOND primer before painting. In the case of ferrous metals, if there is rust on the substrate, it is essential to apply a rust converter such as our METALPRO. However, if the substrate is entirely metallic, it is best to seal it after the rust has been converted with the ARCAFILM ANTICO paint. Disinfected: For materials covered with microorganisms (green deposits, algae, mold), remove as much as possible by brushing and scraping. Then apply a layer of our FUNGICIDE TREATMENT to all areas to be sanitized. Wait 24 to 48 hours before continuing the treatment. Dry: The moisture in the substrate must not exceed 5%. Clean: Free of any traces of dirt. On new slabs, wait 28 days before painting the fresh concrete. Remove any necessary calcareous deposits (laitance rising) by washing with a cement stripping agent. APPLICATION The application on a well-prepared surface begins with a primer, consisting of the product diluted to 50% with water; followed by 2 coats of pure product. In the case of significant cracks, apply a pure coat and impregnate the fresh product with a polyester ARCATISSU reinforcement strip using a spatula. Apply a second coat of pure BOUCH'ETANCHE. RECOMMENDATIONS Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C or above 35°C, in the event of rain or snow, in windy conditions, or on overheated surfaces. These conditions must be respected for 24 hours after application. The application during rain is not recommended. Applying in the event of impending rain or in a saturated atmosphere (periods of fog) results in: very long drying times, a risk of washing away. If the sealing work is urgent, reduce the thickness of the coats and increase the number of coats to respect the overall consumption. If possible, cover the area. PROTECTION No protection is necessary DRYING Indications given at 20°C: Primer: between 2 and 4 hours Pure coat: between 4 and 6 hours The pure coats can be recoated after a minimum of 24 hours. Water-resistant in approximately 5-6 hours, at a temperature of about 20°C and a relative humidity of 65%. The drying will be delayed depending on the humidity of the air and the temperature. During periods of high humidity, it is recommended to apply one coat after the previous one has completely dried. MAINTENANCE No special maintenance required. CONSUMPTION Yield: 0.5 to 1 m² per liter. On average: 1.5 L/m² STORAGE 1 year in its original packaging. Store away from moisture and frost.
